University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF)
The University of Agriculture (UAF) is a public research university in Faisalabad, Pakistan. It is ranked 4th in Pakistan and 1st in the field of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences by HEC Ranking 2019. It was also ranked at No.127 in life Science and Agriculture Science (Shanghai Ranking 2019). The employability ranking by Pakistan made this institution highly reputable. The university came among the top 5 institutions of Pakistan in research power. Muhammad Ashraf is serving as Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Sub-campuses
Sub-campus Burewala Vehari
A sub-campus of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad was established in Burewala District Vehari, to spread the agriculture research all across the country, especially in the southern area of Punjab.
Sub-campus Toba Tek Singh
A sub-campus of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad was established in Toba Tek Singh on 5 June 2005 to study the poultry industry. B.Sc Poultry Science (4-year degree program) is offered at this campus. Special efforts for establishing this sub-campus were made by Prof. Dr. Bashir Ahmed (Ex- Vice-Chancellor) and Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq (Ex- district Nazim).
